Dr. Cheryl A. Luther, DC, MS, CCEP, CSCS, PES

After completing her undergraduate work at Grand Valley State University, Dr. Cheryl Luther attended Life University in Marietta, Georgia where she completed her Masters degree in Sports Injury Management as well as her Doctoral degree in Chiropractic.  Dr. Luther combines multiple degrees, certificates and professional experience to provide both corrective chiropractic care and sport performance based services.  This integrative approach of treating the body as a whole, promotes a proactive design toward health, human performance, and injury prevention.

As an accomplished athlete, Dr. Luther understands the importance of a properly functioning body and quick recovery from injury.  After completing her high school athletic career with track and soccer, Dr. Luther continued to play soccer at the collegiate level at GVSU.  Upon graduation with her Bachelors in Communications, her soccer career transitioned to Women’s Professional Football with the Detroit Demolition, Atlanta Xplosion and now the Detroit Dark Angels.  With Dr. Luther as a starting wide-out, both the Detroit and Atlanta teams won national titles.  She continues to stay active by cycling, playing soccer, playing football with the Detroit Dark Angles, and competing in triathlons.  Through all of her athletic experiences, she has suffered many injuries including concussions, broken bones, torn ACLs, A/C joint separation, etc.  With this in mind, Dr. Luther is able to draw from her experience and use her insight to complete appropriate assessment, exercise and corrective protocols necessary to meet each patient’s individual needs.
